“Forever, Or PFAS Chemicals”

As reported by NBC News on March 1, 2024, “Lawsuit accuses Kleenex maker Kimberly-Clark of polluting a town with PFAS chemicals.”

Kimberly-Clark says it does not use so-called “forever chemicals” in its U.S. consumer products and plans to “vigorously” defend itself against the allegations.

The allegations against Kimberly-Clark highlight the ongoing challenge of managing chemicals’ environmental impact. As the company pledges to defend its practices, it’s a reminder for industries to adopt sustainable approaches and prioritize public health and environmental stewardship in their operations.
